Terms of Service

1. Who we are

US Beauty Bids (“US Beauty Bids,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is a service operated by Sandra Motchum Consulting LLC, a Delaware limited liability company located at 3640 Concord Pike, Unit 1060, Wilmington, DE 19803.

By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What we do — and what we don’t

US Beauty Bids is a matching service. We connect people looking for beauty services (“Clients”) with independent beauty professionals (“Pros”).

We are not a beauty salon, a staffing agency, or an employer. We do not provide beauty services. We do not employ, supervise, direct, or control any Pro.

Specifically:

• Pros set their own prices, accept or decline any offer, and choose their own working conditions
• Pros work at their own location or a location they agree upon with the Client
• Pros use their own tools, products, and methods
• We give no instruction on how any service is performed
• Pros are independent contractors operating their own businesses

We do not take payment for beauty services. Clients pay Pros directly. Our only charge is a connection fee described in Section 5.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. By using it, you represent that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into a binding agreement.

4. How it works

For Clients: You post a request describing the service you want and the maximum amount you are willing to pay. We share that request with Pros in your area. If a Pro accepts your offer, you pay a connection fee and we open a private conversation between you and the Pro on the platform.

For Pros: You create a profile describing your services, your service area, and your availability. We notify you of matching requests. You may accept or decline any request. The first Pro to accept a request is matched with that Client.

After the match: You and the other party arrange the appointment through the in-app conversation. You may choose to share your phone number, but we never share it for you. We are not involved in scheduling, performing, or paying for the service.

5. Connection fee

The connection fee is $10 USD, charged to the Client only when a Pro accepts their offer.

There is no charge to post a request. There is no charge if no Pro accepts. Pros never pay anything.

The connection fee pays for the introduction — not for the beauty service itself.

6. Professional licenses and qualifications

We do not verify professional licenses.

Each Pro is solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all licenses, permits, certifications, and insurance required by the State of California and their local jurisdiction.

At registration, every Pro must certify that they hold all required licenses. That certification is theirs alone. We do not confirm it and make no representation that any Pro is licensed.

What “verified profile” means on our platform: we confirm the Pro’s identity, verify their phone number, and review their portfolio for consistency. It means nothing more than that.

7. No warranty on services

We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any beauty service arranged through the platform.

We make no representation about any Pro’s skill, experience, professionalism, or conduct, beyond the limited verification described in Section 6.

Any dispute about a beauty service is between the Client and the Pro. This includes disputes about quality, price, timing, damage, injury, or conduct. We are not a party to that relationship and will not mediate, arbitrate, or resolve it.

8. Your responsibilities

As a Client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information in your requests
• Pay the Pro the agreed amount directly
• Treat Pros with respect
• Not use the platform to harass, defraud, or endanger anyone

As a Pro, you agree to:

• Hold all licenses required to legally provide your services
• Provide accurate information about your skills, experience, and service area
• Honor appointments you accept
• Perform services safely and professionally
• Treat Clients with respect
• Not use the platform to harass, defraud, or endanger anyone

9. Conduct we prohibit

You may not use US Beauty Bids to:

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or qualifications
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent requests or profiles
• Solicit anyone for anything other than legitimate beauty services
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against any user
• Collect other users’ personal information for purposes unrelated to a booking
• Interfere with the operation of the platform
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, at our discretion and without notice.

9A. In-app messaging

After the connection fee is paid, the Client and the Pro can message each other on the platform.

• Messages are private between the two of you
• You may report a conversation or block the other party at any time
• We do not read your conversations, except when one of the two parties reports the conversation or opens a dispute, in which case we may review the relevant messages to investigate
• You are responsible for what you send. Harassment, threats, explicit content, spam, and attempts to defraud are prohibited and will lead to suspension
• Do not send payment card details, passwords, or government ID numbers through messages

10. Cancellations and no-shows

If a Client cancels after paying the connection fee, the fee is not refunded. See our Refund Policy.

If a Pro cancels or fails to appear, the Client receives a credit for one free connection. See our Refund Policy.

Repeated cancellations by a Pro may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of US Beauty Bids is limited to the amount of connection fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, personal injury, or property damage, arising from your use of the platform or from any beauty service arranged through it.

We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any Client or Pro.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sandra Motchum Consulting LLC, its officers, members, and agents, from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:

• Your use of the platform
• Your breach of these Terms
• Any beauty service you provide or receive
• Your violation of any law or third-party right

13. Dispute resolution

Informal resolution first. If you have a dispute with us, contact us at contact@usbeautybids.site. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Venue. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Note: nothing in this section limits any right you may have under California law as a California resident.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms with a new “Last updated” date and, where required, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

15. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause.

Sections 7, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.

16. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
